Where should I stay?

Answer

At The Homestead. We recommend Fiddlers Pond, Stoney Brook Lodge, or The Inn. Fiddler's Pond is located steps away from the wedding venue and it is where we reserved a room block. There are also several condos, homes, and villas that sleep up to 10 people located on the property. If you stay at an Air BnB off-site, you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from each event. All guests that stay at The Homestead will have transportation available. Call The Homestead, (231) 334-5100, to book your stay and mention our wedding to receive the discount.

Is there a room block?

Answer

Yes! Make sure to tell the reservations department, (231) 334-5100, you are booking for the Mahoney/Cameron wedding to receive the discount.

Where is the ceremony taking place?

Answer

On top of the ski hill at The Homestead.

Where is the reception?

Answer

In the Mountain Flowers Lodge at the bottom of the ski hill.

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Only the wedding party, their plus ones and immediate family members will be at the rehearsal dinner.

Am I invited to the welcome party?

Answer

Yes! Everyone is invited to the welcome party. It will be held at Camp Firefly at The Homestead.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors.

Who is invited to the brunch on Sunday?

Answer

Everyone! If you have time, please join us on your way out of town for breakfast. Please note this event is optional.

What's the best way to get there?

Either carpooling (if you're nearby) or flying into the Traverse City Airport.
