Pattison State Park
When we went to visit our venue we went to Pattinson State Park to checkout the waterfalls. You can do a short hike to see the Big Manitou Falls or take a longer easy hike to see the Little Manitou Falls! Pattinson State Park is 30 minutes from Solon Springs.
Canal Park, Duluth
We love Duluth, we make a trip there at least once a year! We really enjoyed walking the Lakewalk in Canal Park. There is so many great shops, my favorite was Lake Superior Art Glass. The area also has a lot of food options and Canal Brewery.
Park Point
When we were in Duluth celebrating Valentine’s Day we ended our trip by driving out to Park Point. When walking up to what was a “ice beach” in February, we saw locks all along the fence leading to the beach. Matt had an extra lock in his truck, so we put our initials on the lock to hang it on the fence. When we went back to Park Point the next year, we wanted to find our lock! Unfortunately our lock had been removed, but we soon realized that didn’t matter because new locks were being placed on the fence. We decided it would be a fun tradition for us to continue ever year we go to Duluth.
Bent Paddle Brewing Co.
This is just a fun place to stop and drink a beer in the middle of Duluth. It has a super fun atmosphere, you might even catch some live music when you stop by.
