The Festiva

History of Festiva
Originally built by Blount Marine in Narragansett, RI in 1973, she was first commissioned by Duluth Superior Excursions as the Vista Queen. The Vista Queen was the pride of their fleet and, like all Blount boats, was built over-scantling—meaning she was overbuilt for strength. From 1973 to 1994, she operated as an excursion vessel on Lake Superior in Duluth, MN.
In 1994, Rich Moore, a third-generation waterman, expanded his fleet and found Vista Queen to be a perfect fit for his needs. Renamed The Royal Teal after a full refit, she began her new life as a private dinner yacht in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, serving thousands of guests.
In 2004, she was sold to a family friend and operated in NYC, known for her unique dancing under the stars convertible top. Renamed Festiva, she returned to the Moore family in 2019, where they continue to operate and care for her, ensuring she delights future generations.
