Our ceremony will take place outdoors and the remaining festivities will take place under a tent with a mix of gravel and grass, therefore you may want to have an alternate pair of dancing shoes for the reception!
We are having a buffet-style spread for dinner with many options, but please let Abby or Carley know of specific dietary restraints. We want all of our guests to be properly fueled to dance the night away!
We want our guests to feel comfortable during the day's festivities and are requesting guests to follow a semi-formal dress code. We know June in Michigan can get hot and humid so dress shorts and sandals are appropriate.
You will see some children who were involved in the wedding party, or immediate family and friends of Abby and Carley at our wedding. But, we are requesting that you only bring who is addressed on your invitation due to venue constraints.
During our ceremony, we ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos as we would like everyone to be truly present as we begin our forever with each other. We encourage pictures and videos at our reception, but we do ask that everyone respect our photographer and videographer and give them space to work their magic!
Yes, there is an open bar with liquor and beer options. If none of the options tickle your fancy, there are additional options that can be paid in cash through Pine River. There will also be a NA beer option for our non-alcoholic guests. We want everyone to make it home safe so please have a designated driver if you're going to indulge at our reception.
