Our beloved city park! And only a short walk from the W. Great options for running, biking, or just enjoying a day hanging on the lawn. The park bar, Park Tavern, is a popular place to grab a beer.
BeltLine Trail - Eastside
You cannot leave Atlanta without checking out the BeltLine Trail! The Eastside trail starts at Piedmont Park and provides a great opportunity to see some of Atlanta's most vibrant shops, restaurants, and bars, which are peppered alongside the trail between parks and public art.
Atlanta Botanical Garden
Gorgeous gardens that back right up to Piedmont Park!
Ponce City Market
A true Atlanta gem, and right off of the BeltLine trail! This converted Sears factory has great restaurants, shops, and even boasts a carnival-like game area on the rooftop.
High Museum of Art
Atlanta's art museum, right around the corner from the W. They've got a little bit of everything, from classic to modern art.
Krog Street Market
Located right off of the BeltLine trail! Visit this local market for delicious restaurants, great drinks, and local shops.
The Battery Atlanta
The Battery surrounds Truist Park where Carley's beloved Braves play. The Battery offers great bars, restaurants, and boutiques.
The Shops of Buckhead
Atlanta's own little Rodeo Drive. Go here for fashion-forward shopping and fabulous restaurants!
Westside Provisions District
Head to the Westside Provisions District for great boutiques, some amazing restaurants (The West Egg, Upbeet, and JCT Kitchen, to name a few), and an abundance of local coffee shops.
Lee + White
Situated alongside the Westside segment of the BeltLine Trail, Lee + White has an assortment of breweries (including a kombucha brewery!), a whiskey distillery, and some great local food.
Stone Mountain Park
Stone Mountain Park is great for hiking, trail walking, and other family-friendly outdoor attractions. Don't forget to take a picture when you get to the top; you can get a good look at the Atlanta skyline on a clear day!
Arabia Mountain
Just a 30-minute drive from Midtown, Arabia Mountain is a great place to hike around and explore. The hikes are pretty easy and great for beginners and regular hikers alike!
