Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at the Mackey House. The address can be found under the "Schedule" tab of the website.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes early to give yourself plenty of time to sign our guest book and find your seat.
The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm followed by cocktail hour at 5pm with drinks and light refreshments. After cocktail hour there will be dinner and dancing beginning at 6pm.
Please RSVP no later than December 19th 2021
**UPDATE**: Given the spread of the new omicron variant we are requiring all guests to provide proof of a negative COVID test before attending any of our wedding events. Test should be taken no earlier than Wednesday 01/12 if you are attending rehearsal dinner or welcome reception or no earlier than Thursday 01/13 if you are only attending the wedding. Other mitigation measures: - Our ceremony will be held outdoors and dinner will be in an open air pavilion. The pavilion will be temperature controlled. After dinner, we will move to the deck of the house for dancing. The deck has a clear top tent. If it is warm enough all sides of the tent will be open, if it is cooler the tent will be enclosed on three sides. - Hand sanitizer provided - KN95 Masks provided and required during ceremony, indoors, and in the buffet line
Rapid. home test, and PCR tests are all acceptable, however a PCR test is preferred.
We have ordered some rapid test to be available onsite. However, due to shortages on tests it is TBD on whether those arrive. If we have rapid tests available you will be able to take one on site. If we do not have rapids available and we do not have proof of a negative covid test from you, we unfortunately will not be able to host you for our wedding. Therefore we STRONGLY suggest scheduling a test on your own before any travel.
You can email your test result to nicholscahnwedding@gmail.com. We will have someone at the door of our events with a list of guests who have provided their test results. If you don't email the test result in advance, you can also present it at the door.
While your presence is more than enough, if you do wish to honor us with a gift we are registered with Zola and Amazon. The link to our Zola registry is provided above.
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or sports coat.
If your invitation reads "and guest", you are more than welcome to bring a date. In your RSVP, please include your guest's name so that they may be properly welcomed to our wedding.
We recognize that many of our guests are traveling from out of town and we do not want child care to prevent you from being able to attend, so, kids are welcome at both our ceremony and reception. On your RSVP card please indicate the number of children attending and whether or not your child(ren) would like a kid friendly meal option.
