We used to live in this beautiful neighborhood. Grab a phenomenal cup of coffee and enjoy the beautiful historic homes!

Portland Brew Coffee

This was our go-to coffee spot throughout all of grad school! We would walk Crosby here every weekend, and enjoy coffee at nearby Sevier Park.

Edley's BBQ

Edley's has a great bushwacker and even better BBQ. What's a bushwacker you say? Imagine a Wendy's frosty with a boozy twist. You can find Edley's in multiple neighborhoods!

Martin's BBQ

This downtown spot has arguably the best BBQ in Nashville and is located within walking distance to the honky tonks.

Mas Tacos

Best tacos in town. Hands down. Cash only!

Robert's Western World

One of the oldest and most original honky tonks downtown. If we ever venture downtown, you'll find us here, probably eating their famous fried bolonga sandwich.

Filling Station

A cozy spot that offers a long list of beers. We often walked here with Crosby from our apartment on 12 South. Crosby made many a friend sitting outside on the patio.

Shelby Bottoms Nature Center

You'll find us walking or biking the beautiful paved paths in this nestled haven. It is our favorite and most accessible park to stroll in with Crosby.

Grimey's New and Pre-Loved Music

Music is a big part of why we love Nashville. Grimey's is the perfect place to peruse albums and sometimes catch a free show.
