Bride
Carlee is known for her big heart, quick laugh, and ability to make people feel instantly at home. She prides herself in being a mini Martha Stewart, always redecorating, cooking or baking something new, and always in the midst of several DIY projects. When she’s not Martha-ing, she’s tending to her plants, snuggling with the dogs, or sending any thought in a memo to her friends. She feels incredibly lucky to be marrying her best friend—and someone who tolerates her shenanigans.
Groom
Paul is the kind of person you want on your team, whether it’s club volleyball, Catan, or Rocket League. He’s calm, dependable, and famously patient, especially when it comes to Carlee’s Facebook marketplace and free roadside “finds”. He’s happiest when he’s home with the dogs, spoiling them with the most expensive treats, snuggling in the hammock, or playing ball in the backyard. Paul can’t wait to marry Carlee and continue their life journey together!
Our first fur baby!
Scottie has been the center of our world for the past three years. The main reason we wanted a house so bad was to finally get a dog. Sure enough, one month after moving in, we adopted Scottie. He even was there for our house warming party! He is the sweetest, smartest and silliest yorkie mix ever. He will of course have an appearance at our reception.
Our second fur baby!
Winnie is the most recent addition to our family! We had always debated on getting Scottie a sister and we felt the time was right. We adopted Winnie March 2026 and since then she has fit in perfectly. Her and Scottie wrestle everyday and snuggle every night. We love Winnie so much. We keep saying, somehow we got lucky a second time with such a sweet dog!
Tinder <3
We met during the tail end of COVID in May 2021, and as everything was during the pandemic, we met online. Our first date was at Fenton River Grill. From the first date, we instantly clicked. Within 8 months of dating we were already moving into our first and only apartment. This photo is from our second date, which Paul insisted we take!
Why not!
We truly are simple people! We go camping for most of our vacations in the summer. We favor nights in with the dogs rather than going out. Our engagement was just us and Scottie, in a meadow at the local Bush Hill Preserve. We wanted a simple wedding, intimate and special, just us two in a place we love so much. Eloping just felt right!
It’s the BEST!
Since getting Scottie, we have loved camping and exploring Vermont with him. We travel to VT state parks every summer and are trying to see them all. The air feels different in Vermont, the trees seem greener, and the people are friendlier! Mountains, creeks, lakes, turtles, fish, bears, stars, maple syrup; you get to see it all in VT! We cannot get enough of this state and are eager to elope there.
Our home!
We bought our first home together in October 2023 and moved in shortly after in December 2023. Life has been so good since living on Bush Hill Road. We have the best neighbors, people and dogs! We love our home so much and have put in so much work over the past few years. We cannot wait to share this special day with you all at our safe haven!
