Back in High School, at the ages of 17 and 15, Mike and Carlee's High School Sweat Heart love story began. They had mutual friends and saw each other quite often outside of school. After a few months of becoming inseparable from one another, they knew it was time to make it official. Since then, Mike and Carlee haven't left each others side and have been there for one another through every huge milestone in life.

On a hot summer day, Mike told Carlee they were meeting his siblings at the beach to take photos for his parent's anniversary. Little did Carlee know, Mike had been planning a proposal all along. When they got to the beach and stepped out of the car, Mike grabbed Carlee's hand and led her down the sand path. As they were walking, Mike looked at Carlee and said "you know its always been you, right"? Carlee instantly knew what was happening and began to cry. As they continued to walk down the beach, they turned a corner where Mike had set up big letters reading "MARRY ME" along side of two dozen roses, and champagne on ice. When Mike got down on one knee, Carlee covered her face, began to cry more, and said yes! Their siblings soon jumped out from their hiding spots and gathered around them. After taking beautiful photos with the photographer Mike hired, there was one more surprise. Mike had planned a party back at their house where both families, and close friends, celebrated their engagement. It was the most perfect day to the start of their forever!
