We met at the University of New Haven our freshman year of college. Having several mutual friends, we had known of each other but never took the time to introduce ourselves until one snowed in night. Carlee asked "Hi, are you new here?" because Ethan had finally shaved off his beard over winter break and did not recognize him. Fast forward a couple of weeks and one house party later, we had officially hit it off. We left for summer break with a "see you next year" until plans were made for the entire crew to get together over the summer. Ethan finally got the guts up to ask Carlee out and in true fashion, said NO because she thought he was kidding! She laughed it off until she realized he was not kidding and had him ask her again a couple hours later.

After 7 years together Carlee would say she was patiently waiting for the day Ethan would propose. However, if you ask Ethan, he will say Carlee was absolutely not patient and made sure to remind him once a week until the day it happened. Ethan finally decided on 12.10.22 to get down on one knee in NYC and Carlee said YES FINALLY! We cannot wait to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with everyone we love!
