The Santa Barbara airport is a 17 minute drive from the Old Mission. It’s quaint with a charming Spanish style fountains and a luggage claim you’d have to see to believe.

Burbank Airport

Very easy to use airport, a most enjoyable 92 miles up the 101, Pacific Coast Highway will take you to the Old Mission Santa Barbara. There are many places to stop along the way to view some of California’s best beaches. Including Malibu’s El Matador State beach, Ventura State beach, Haskell’s beach, Carpinteria beach, Butterfly beach (known for its sunset views) and Leadbetter beach.

LAX

You may save on airfare but this is my least favorite airport due to traffic hassles and crowds. LAX is 103 miles from The Old Mission Santa Barbara.
