After nearly three years of getting to know each other and our respective friends and families, we've made it official! On August 16, 2023, we were married in a small civil ceremony in Oakland, CA surrounded by friends and family from the area. Now we invite those nearest and dearest to us across the globe to join us on November 11, 2023, in Yountville, CA to celebrate our union.

2020 was full of surprises and change for literally everyone on the planet. Luckily for us, it was also the start of something really special. After connecting online just before the presidential election in November, we spent 2 months FaceTiming for hours on end, diving deep into topics ranging from politics to family, to life goals, and more. Finally, on December 25, 2020, we met in person for the first time. Who has their first date on Christmas Day?! Of course, he was late! His excuse is that he was on the phone with his mom, sister, and grandmother. It was Christmas, after all ... :) We've spent nearly every holiday (except New Year's Eve 2021 and 2023) - from Presidents Day to Thanksgiving - together since. It's become somewhat of an inside joke and how we track all our biggest milestones ... We guess it's fitting that our celebration falls on 11/11 aka Veterans Day!

We're so pleased to invite you to Sara's hometown of Yountville, CA, in the heart of the Napa Valley Wine Country. We understand not everyone abroad will be able to make it. To our friends and family in Ghana: We plan to celebrate AGAIN in Accra during April 2024 and hope to see you there if you're not able to join us in November. More details to come! For those of you able to attend our celebration in Yountville: you're in for a treat!
