What started with faith that has blossomed into a beautiful journey of love and purpose. We’re so grateful to share this moment with you as we step into forever—rooted in God’s grace and surrounded by those we cherish most. Let’s celebrate the love that made it all possible! In glory and honor of the Author of Love, no other name above the Name of Jesus!
We first crossed paths in June 2022, at the proposal of Stephen—now happily married to my cousin, Deane. Back then, the timing wasn’t quite right, but come January 2023, a cheerful “Happy New Year” from Carl sparked something special, reaching out with a hopeful heart. By March, at Stephen and Deane’s wedding, our story truly began to bloom. And here we are, ready to celebrate our own happily ever after… but wait! Let’s hold that excitement just a little longer—there’s still the fun, swoon-worthy courtship and proposal chapters coming up next!
Natasha first met a man she thought could be the one, but after reflecting on what God has shown her in 1 Samuel 16:7—“The Lord does not look at the things people look at, but He looks at the heart”—and Ephesians 3:20-21, she realized it was actually Carl who was meant for her. That same month, Carl expressed his love, confirming God’s plan. Together, they pursued God’s perfect will, growing closer in faith and love. On March 17, 2024, Natasha read through all the verses and confirmations God had given her and greeted Carl with, “Happy 1st Monthsary.” And that’s how it became a memorable moment for both of us.
Carl expressed his heartfelt proposal to Natasha, during what was supposed to be a simple family dinner, originally planned for their first anniversary as boyfriend and girlfriend on February 17, 2025. However, due to ongoing preparations for a big event, the family dinner was postponed, leading to an even more beautiful milestone in their lives. On March 29, 2025, Carl expressed his love despite the distance, witnessed by their whole family and closest friends, in a moment that had been planned long ago, as he asked Natasha, “Will you marry me?” To sum up that special day, Natasha and Carl shared on social media: “When love transcends all distance, sealed by the One who first loved us. —1 John 4:19.” Little did we know, our wedding day would be April 19, 2026.
