Asheville Travel Tips

->Downtown Asheville is very walkable. ->Weather in the mountains can change quickly, especially in the evenings. Our ceremony and reception are outdoors. Bring a jacket or shawl for your comfort. ->Ride shares such as Uber and Lyft are available throughout downtown Asheville. ->Cell service will become more limited near Hot Springs and mountain areas surrounding the venue.

Flight

Getting to Asheville

The Asheville airport is 15 minutes from downtown. The best way to get to/from the airport is private car or ride app (Uber or Lyft). Because of construction, there is a quick shuttle to the ride app pickup spot (near the Dunkin’). Look for signs to the ground transportation shuttle. It’s a 15 minute walk if you choose to hoof it. The closest major airport is Charlotte, which is two hours away.

Shuttle Schedule

Shuttles will run between each hotel and the venue according to the below schedule. Parking is very limited at the venue; please take a shuttle! To sweeten the deal (literally and figuratively), there will be care baskets on each shuttle with waters, snacks, and other goodies. Please be in the hotel lobby and ready to board at least 10 minutes prior to departure time. Transportation will depart promptly to maintain the wedding timeline. The estimated venue arrival time is 4-4:10 PM.

Please take Shuttle B from either the Element or TownPlace hotels. The parking garage on College Street (164 College St, Asheville, NC 28801) is the closest and most convenient public parking option for guests attending the wedding who are staying outside of the hotel block or driving in separately.
