Kaitlyn and Carl first met through the Florida Swing Dance Club at UF. From the beginning, Carl was one of Kaitlyn's favorite dance partners...she was a terrible dancer and he did not share the sentiment.

Kaitlyn was in her last semester of graduate school and didn't want to start dating anyone before graduation. She thought Carl was cute though and warned her roommate not to let her put the moves on him. Fortunately, Katie did not listen.

Carl took Kaitlyn completely by surprise. They had friends in town for the weekend and visited Payne's Prairie in the morning. That afternoon, Carl and Kaitlyn went on a picnic to celebrate their third anniversary. When it was time to exchange gifts, Carl went first and proposed. Kaitlyn will never allow Carl to go first again because her gift to Carl was incredibly anti-climactic.

We can't wait to see everyone as we start the next chapter of our lives together!
