Jimmy and Carl met in Melbourne, Florida. This was (and is again) Jimmy's native home. When Carl moved to Florida they met through their mutual friend Kyle Nugent and had many long days of playing FIFA and talking fantasy football. Jimmy moved to Dallas for a job, and shortly later Carl moved there as well for the same reason so their friendship was able to continue to develop.
