Our love story began the way many modern romances do: with a swipe on Hinge (dating app). For our first date, we chose Dave & Buster’s because nothing says romance quite like arcade games, flashing lights and a little friendly competition. Jacob arrived to the date with a surprise twist: a cast on his right arm, giving strong Transformers energy and immediately setting the tone for an unforgettable night. Despite the cast (or maybe because of it), the games were played, the laughs were constant and it quickly became clear this wasn’t just any first date. Somewhere between the arcade games and the jokes, we realized we found something special.
