For your journey to San Miguel de Allende, we recommend flying into Querétaro International Airport (QRO) or Guanajuato International Airport (BJX). Querétaro International Airport (QRO) is approximately 1–1.5 hours from San Miguel de Allende and is the closest airport. Guanajuato International Airport (BJX) is approximately 1.5–2 hours away and may offer additional flight options for guests traveling from the United States. Mexico City International Airport (MEX) is also an option and offers the widest selection of domestic and international flights; however, the drive to San Miguel de Allende is approximately 3.5–4 hours, depending on traffic. Private transportation and shuttle services are available from all three airports. We recommend arranging transportation to San Miguel de Allende in advance for a seamless arrival.
