Question

How do we get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

You can rent a car or use a ride-share service to get to the resort. Uber or lyft will run about $100 one way. There are also shuttle services: Greyhound Lines — They make scheduled stops along the route between Miami International Airport and the Florida Keys. 1-(800) 231-2222 or (305) 296-9072. Keys Shuttle provides 3 trips daily, with door to door shuttle service from the Florida Keys from/to Miami and Ft. Lauderdale airports, 7 days a week. New, clean, comfortable, full size vans carry a maximum of 12 passengers. In addition to our door to door service, Keys Shuttle provides private charter services to/from Miami and Ft. Lauderdale airports. Call 305-289-9997 or 888-765-9997. Depending on how many people are flying in from out of town and when the flights arrive we may arrange a private shuttle for guests to get to and from the airport. Stay tuned for more information.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking for hotel guests only at Dolphin Point Villas. Please plan transportation accordingly to the property for the weekend's events. If you are not staying on property I encourage you to stay at one of the hotel options within walking distance to Dolphin Point!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

No later than September 30, 2022 please! The sooner the better! There is a lot to figure out with rooms and room blocks once I receive all RSVPs.

Is there space for me to stay at the property where all the events are being held?

Answer

Dolphin Point Villas can only accommodate 36-48 guests privately (without the usage of sleeper sofas). We will be opening the rooms for close family and our bridal parties first and then I will reach out to other guests for any remaining space we have on site!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! But please let me know so we can arrange kids meals and other details

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let me know your dietary restrictions or requests and I will do my best to accommodate you!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is beach casual for all events except for the wedding ceremony and reception. Please dress in beach elegant attire (no t-shirts or shorts please). Keep in mind we will be outdoors so bring layers if applicable and comfortable footwear. Also, if you would like to bring a change of clothes and are not staying on property you are welcome to do so and store your things at one of our villas.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! I would suggest staying somewhere within walking distance to Dolphin Point Villas if possible. Hotel recommendations are located on the travel tab.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered with Zola and Bed, Bath & Beyond. I am also working on other registries and will update the Registry tab soon!

How does it work for the room assignments and payment if we’re staying at Dolphin Point?

Answer

Dolphin Point requires us to assign guests to each villa and suite. Once the guest list is finalized, guests can call dolphin point villas at 305.451.0315 to see where they’re staying and to pay for their room.

How long will we be staying?

Answer

We have rented dolphin point villas from Friday January 20- Monday January 23. Check in is Friday at 4:00pm EST and check out is Monday at 11:00am EST. Matthew and I will be arriving Thursday. If you have a spot on property please let me know if you would like to add on Thursday night to your stay as well.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have arranged for setup and catering for the amount of people we invited, so we can only accommodate the number of people included on your invitation. We are happy to speak more about this to you off line.
