Where are the ceremony and reception?

Both the ceremony and reception are at the Van Dusen Mansion in Minneapolis, MN. Please use this address in your GPS to be guided to the drop off driveway: 1920 Pillsbury Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55403. Guests are allowed to park in the church parking lot behind the mansion.

Where do I park?

Guests are encouraged to use Lyft to get to the venue and get dropped off. Use the Lyft code ROBINSONSMITH 19 for a $15 credit. Please use this address in your GPS to be guided to the drop off driveway: 1920 Pillsbury Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55403. Guests are now allowed to park in the church parking lot behind the mansion. There is free parking on the street, but is very limited.

When should I arrive in town?

Answer

Those invited to the rehearsal dinner should arrive by Saturday, October 26 in the afternoon so you have time to check in to your hotel room and join us for dinner. Everyone's presence is requested on Sunday, October 27 for the ceremony at 5:00 pm CST. If you want to arrive earlier than Saturday afternoon, you absolutely can! The hotel room block discount applies on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

Is there a dress code?

Please dress in formal or cocktail attire. Please wear a coat. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside and the temperature will be cool this time of year. There will be a coat rack inside the mansion to store your coats for the remainder of the evening.

How does the Lyft code work?

Answer

Download the Lyft app. On your first trip starting on Friday, October 25, enter the code ROBINSONSMITH19 on the checkout screen. Your account will be credited with $15 to use towards your trips that weekend. The code can only be used once per person. If the full amount is not used in one trip, the remaining balance can be applied to future trips until Monday, October 28. Be advised that the code is designed to assist you to get to the planned events, and as such will only be valid to go to the locations listed in the schedule.
