Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would appreciate it if you could RSVP by June 12th, 2021 at the latest. You can either return the RSVP card or submit your response through our website.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

If you are thinking of giving a gift, we would appreciate a gift of cash to go towards our first home. However, if you prefer to purchase a gift, feel free to surprise us in your own way.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal.

Question

Can I bring a date or children?

Answer

Due to a limited number of guests, we can only accommodate the guests indicated on the RSVP cards. Similarly, we apologize for the inconvenience but we can only accommodate kids in our immediate family.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

A shuttle will be available to take you to and from the Westin Hotel to the ceremony and reception sites.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Ceremony at the Basilica of Ste. Anne de Detroit: Street parking is available all around the church building. You can also park in the lot on Ste. Anne St. Reception at the Guardian Building: Public parking is available at the Griswold-Larned Garage, directly across the street from the Guardian Building, on a first come, first serve basis.

Question

What kind of COVID precautions will be put in place?

Answer

Ceremony: Everyone must wear a mask to enter the church. There will be hand sanitizer available. Social distancing will be enforced. Guests will have the option to spread out as the church is quite spacious. Individuals from the same group/family will be able to sit together. Reception: Everyone must wear a mask to enter the building. There will be hand sanitizer available at each table. Food will be directly served by staff. Social distancing efforts will include having the tables placed farther apart and the dance floor marked for 6 feet apart. We have scaled down our guest list to ensure that our event is as safe as possible for our guests.
