Can we use our phones?

Answer

We ask that you do NOT use your phones during the ceremony. You can you it any other time and we hope you do so that you get great photos/ memories.

Will there be internet?

Answer

Nope! There is no internet at the Inn. So bring a good book or a fun game to play. Download your favorite TV shows, movies and music to watch/listen on your phone.

Is there TV in the room?

Answer

No. Think of this stay at the Inn as GLAMPING! Enjoy spending time in the forest and with the family. Pre-download TV shows, books, and/or music if you need to.

Where is the closest store?

Answer

We recommend going to a grocery store prior to leaving town. However, The Dry Creek Store is a 15 minute drive from Steamboat Inn and sells basic provisions including snacks, ice cream, beer, and gas. About 20 minutes away, the Idleyld Trading Post has a deli and sells hot food along with general provisions. If you are looking for something specific to have on-hand we strongly suggest that you pick it up before leaving town.

Where are we staying?

Answer

We rented houses on the river! We have a nice grassy area to hangout in and our own access to the river. Each house has a full kitchen! So bring some snacks if you want them!

Where do we eat?

Answer

We will be providing a rehearsal dinner on 5/30. The day of the wedding there will be breakfast at the houses and the reception will be served at the Inn that evening. We will also have brunch the morning after 6/1 at the Inn. Please plan ahead for your necessary snacks and lunches! Guests will be on their own for one meal. You can either take advantage of the kitchen provided in the houses and stop at the store before arriving or eat at the Inn. If you are hungry in between please feel free to stop at the Inn for a meal! Each house also has a full kitchen!

How long is the drive to Steamboat Inn from Eugene?

It is about a 2 hour drive from Eugene to the Steamboat Inn.

What time is check in/out?

Answer

Check in is at 3pm on Friday, May 30th. Check out is 11am on Sunday June 1st.

What should we bring?

Answer

Hopefully it will be warm enough during the day to take a dip in the river so bring a swimsuit! In addition, it gets chilly at night so layers and jackets are a must. We also recommend bring some of your favorite snacks. Lastly, a comfortable pair of shoes that you can walk on uneven surfaces in.
