This is obviously not a story about us we thought we would need to share. This pandemic has affected so many people and interfered with planning. As of right now (August 23, 2020); we will be moving forward as planned with modifications. 1. We will be limiting number of guests to ensure social distancing at reception 2. Ceremony will be outdoors 3. Seating chart will be made for reception to assit with arranging families/friends/high risk for safety 4. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available 5. Food and beverages will be served to guests We update you all with the above information as it is all we know at present as well. If there are any further changes or limitations, either the bride or groom will reach out to those affected individually. We first met in high school with a few common friends and did not think much about it. We went our separate ways and did not see or speak for ten years. Then one night, Perry reached out and it has been Perissa ever since.

Carissa had been to see the broadway play, Finding Neverland with her mom in Knoxville. Afterwards they went to get her favorite dessert at a French Market. Once they ordered and sat down (at a very specific table per her mom) they just started talking. Carissa was oblivious and kept talking about wanting to explore the upstairs of the restaurant. Then...Perry shows up with tears in his eyes and Cala Lillies in his hand. He immediately dropped to one knee and with all the love in his eyes asked Carissa to marry him.
