Due to constraints on our location and our budget, we are limiting our guests to the people listed on the invitation. For some of our out of town guests, we have allotted you a plus one to give you company on your travels! Unless you have been told explicitly to bring a friend, please don't bring any additional guests. We want to make sure we have enough food and drink for everyone, and that's easiest to do if we set boundaries!
If we put your kiddo's name(s) on the invitation, yes! But if you would prefer to have our wedding be your night off, that's more than okay too! There will be games for kids (and adults) to play like giant Jenga and corn hole as well as a small bump n' jump, trampoline, and swing set (courtesy of our hosts!). Please be aware that there is a pond at the venue, so make sure you watch your little ones near the water! (Jake and I can't turn off our lifeguarding instincts no matter how hard we try!).
Not really! Not a cocktail party by any means, but comfortably dressy! Keep in mind that it is Colorado in the spring, so check the weather, and bring something warm in case it gets chilly!
Grand Valley Power has been kind of us to let us park in their parking lot because they aren't open on weekends. The parking lot is just down the street from the venue, so you can walk it if you feel up to it, but we will also have a shuttle available to get you back to your car! Bring cash to tip them please!
No. Grand Junction does have Uber, Lyft, and taxis, so if you need a ride to the venue, you can utilize any of those transportation options...or carpool!
Qdoba is catering, so we are hoping that this will cover vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, nut allergy, and a lot of other dietary restrictions AND be kid-friendly! Please feel free to bring snacks or your own food if you need.
