Colman and Carissa have been friends for years. They first met eachother at camp Kalaqua when they were 10 years old. And after that week our friend groups just kind of intertwined for a while. Then we got to highschool and now we had some new friends and we were always at different schools. Still we were friendly at church every week. But everything really set sail for us senior year. Colman always had is eye on Carissa but you know how boys can be. Finally senior year Colman asks Carissa to go get wings and watch football. As much as that appealed to her she didn’t want to do anything else on her saturday night... I really didn’t think anything would come from it. If anything at all I just thought we would be good friends. And as the saying goes the rest is history. In between all this is a whole lot of friday night lights and cheering Colman on. And for Colman a whole lot movie marathons and cooking desserts. We’ve grown up together, we’ve learned what love can be with God in the center and we are keeping our eyes forward to what the Lord has for us. We have shared many awesome times together. Driving around in the hummer, laughing till we cry, and a few family vacations. We can’t wait to be married and continue this journey God has blessed us with.
