(Written by Carissa) The day before my first day of my freshman year of college, I made the last minute decision to add a psychology 101 class at 8am. I was not elated about the time it began, but I knew it was worth it when I saw the most attractive man I had ever seen walk into class on September 4th, 2018. Truly believing that I would likely never see him again after that class, I tried my best to ignore the possibility that we could ever be. I ran into him in January after the fall semester at the yogurt bar. Thanking God for my good luck, I decided to not let this moment be wasted. "You know the Greek yogurt is way better," I say matter of factly, as he scoops vanilla yogurt into his bowl. He shakes his head side to side in disagreement and mutters something about the superiority of vanilla. After that I would run into him in the dining hall, (sometimes purposefully sometimes not) regularly, and being to shy to ask what his name was, I thought it would be funny to dub him as "yogurt boy" instead. I would address him as such in greeting, occasionally he would crack a smile which made me feel quite good. Again, believing that after our January-term session where our meals happened to align at the dinning hall, I would likely never see him again after that. In February, spring semester began, and the day before classes started I made a quick change to a Spanish 101 8am class in order to be in the same class as my friends. Low and behold, who walks into that 8am Spanish, but yogurt boy himself. A week or two later, both my Spanish partner and Caleb's Spanish partner dropped the class, rendering both of us partner-less. Our professor recommended that I turn my chair around in order to be partners with Caleb. Throughout the semester, we became friends, and two months later, we began dating on July 2, 2019.
