It was May of 2016. Carissa had just started working at a local hometown bar. Andrew was out at his local hangout after work when he heard of a new “red headed” bartender who worked on her own car. He had to put her knowledge to the test! June 2016, Andrew had gotten the nerve to go visit this new bartender. He asked for a Busch “Latte”. She asked for his ID. They both had a good laugh. They talked about all of the things that she had done with her car. They spent all night talking her shift away.

Andrew had done a float trip down the river for his brithday every year for a few years now. Every trip has been a blast and he was really looking forward to this next one. Carissa had met a few friends at her new job and enjoyed hanging out with everyone. One of her new friends and coworker Danielle had asked her if she wanted to go on an annual float trip down the river later in the month. Carissa - not knowing what she meant by “float trip” - said “Sure!” July 30, 2016 - Float Day This year, Andrew started the float with his brother Joe. Some time had gone by and Andrew had noticed the “new bartender” had joined the trip this year! Danielle and Carissa were scheduled to work that night so they decided to stick together for the day and exit the trip a little early. Once everyone had gotten ready and started down the river, everyone started relaxing, talking, and getting to know one another. Andrew swam over to all of his friends to say hi, making his way to Danielle. This was the day Andrew and Carissa had been formally introduced.

Carissa and Andrew had been hanging out with each other for quite some time now. Andrew thought to finally ask her to be his girlfriend. December 14, 2016 He asked her to lunch to Brickstone. He asked She said Yes

September 3, 2018 Andrew and Carissa were on vacation with his family in Gatlinburg Tennessee. They went downtown, took trips in the Jeeps into the mountains, visited some streams… then she sprained her ankle! Right when he had planned to ask. Plan B They all get back to their cabin and Carissa tends to her - not surprising - injury. Andrew goes to the porch to watch the scenery. A few minutes go by, Andrew returns and asks Carissa to join him on the patio and watch the view with him. After some time, Andrew turns to look at Carissa, gets down on one knee, shows the ring, and asks… “Will you Marry me?” She replied, “Yes!”
