Victor and Carissa’s journey began in 2022 when God called them both individually to help launch a new church campus in Orlando. It was here that they first crossed paths. Victor served coffee to the volunteers, and for an entire year, he would hand Carissa her iced coffee with oat milk. During this time, they made small talk, but for the longest time, Carissa didn’t know his name, so she fondly referred to him as “Coffee Guy.” One day, Victor took a leap and messaged Carissa, asking if she’d like to grab coffee outside of church. What started as a simple coffee date soon turned into a long evening—dinner, followed by dessert and wine. From that day on, they were inseparable. As their relationship blossomed, it became clear to both Victor and Carissa that God had brought them together. Each day, they grew closer, and God answered their prayers, revealing that they were meant to be with each other. After just five dates, Victor asked Carissa to be his girlfriend. And, after one incredible year of dating, he asked her to be his wife. God’s fingerprints have been all over their story, and they are beyond excited for the future He has planned for them as husband and wife.
