Wedding Party

Meet the people that we love that will be joining us down the aisle!

Alyssa Porter

Maid of Honor

One of my best friends. We worked together in college and stayed close since. Alyssa is sassy and fun to hang around. I love and appreciate her and cannot wait for everyone to meet her! -Carissa

Joe Molina

Best Man

Former roommate and close friend. Recently Separated from the Air Force and still serving in a civilian capacity at Minot Air Force Base as a front desk clerk for the on base inn. Loyal, trustworthy, and creative to a fault.

Priscila Vollmers

Bridesmaid

She is fun and full of energy; constantly moving and helping people in need. Recently married to David Vollmers (the Officiant) and mother to two crazy cats. I love and appreciate her for her help in this wedding process. -Carissa

Mike Moreno

Groomsman

Soon to close his Career in the Air Force after being forced to serve in food management for nearly three times the legal length, Mike is well adjusted and able to fit into any group or setting. He exudes a air of normality and common sense among his more eccentric friends. He the voice of reason amongst a sea of chaos.

Skylar Johnson

Bridesmaid

She is a lovely and dependable friend. Very similar to Mike, she is a mom friend that you can come to about any problem. She loves Disney movies and reading books. She is currently writing her own series with her cousin! I love her to pieces and cannot wait for her to be apart of this crazy family. -Carissa

David Vollmers

Officiant

He is my closest friend and brother figure. We are a fire storm together with very low impulse control when in the same room. David is ambitious and charismatic. He is someone that has always been there and the one I always go to when I have gossip to share. -Carissa

David Villa

Father of the Bride

He is a pastor and basketball coach. He is passionate about the Lakers and Dallas Cowboys. Even though he doesn't acknowledge it, he love philosophical questions. My dad has cheered me on in my passions even though he knew nothing about them. He is ambitious and straight forward with everyone, never steering away from who he really is and what he loves. I deeply appreciate all that he has done for us and cannot wait to have him walk me down the aisle. -Carissa

Jennifer Villa

Mother of the Bride

She is extremely passionate about her work and helping everyone around her. She is one of the most selfless people I know and appreciate what she has sacrificed to help raise myself and my sisters. Her role in this wedding is a unique one. Most mother of the brides are seated at the front row, but in this wedding I felt that it was appropriate to honor the work and dedication she poured into my life by having her and my father walk me down the aisle. -Carissa

Phillip Wolslagel

Father of the Groom

He is an intelligent and caring father. He loves mythology (specifically Egyptian) and Svengoolie, and passed down his love of bad movies to his sons. He is a forensics expert with an emphasis on firearms and ballistics and was so before shows like CSI made it cool. He is also a seasoned outdoors-man, even once volunteering to teach a desert survival class for Game and Fish. He has many a horror story about people who have underestimated cholla cactus.

Cynthia Wolslagel

Mother of the Groom

Giving school librarian, sociable and caring mother. She retired from public education before becoming a mother, but restarted her carer again after the crossing guard for her son's school failed to report to duty and she stepped in. Over the years she had moved up from Crossing guard, to teacher's aid, to now the head librarian at one of Arizona's better schools. She loves animals and has two kittens, a turtle, and a new ball python which she keeps in her library.
