Carin traveled to Spokane for Tabatha's birthday. That night, Brad and Eric cooked dinner for the girls before a fun evening out on the town. Little did they know this evening would make an impression on them both that was one to remember. Carin moved to Portland- Brad helped Carin pack and move. Fast forward 3 years to Brad moving Carin back to Spokane after they reconnected in 2019; It literally felt like no time had passed at all and the sparks were still there.
Brad was playing traveling softball and asked Carin to come watch a tournament on the West side since she was still living in Portland. She drove up to Seattle and watched a great weekend of men's softball. While at Red Robin for dinner that weekend Brad officially asked Carin to be his girlfriend.. ❤
We had officially lived together for a year (through a pandemic) with us both working from home and having a room mate. Brad thought of a fun way to celebrate the year by having a nice dinner at home and a game in which we needed to purchase the others favorite in that category. The topics were: Favorite Drink, favorite Snack, favorite color, something to share, and something to do together. This was a fun game to see how well we knew each other. The final category was Something to do together; Carin thought she was so clever with getting a Gingerbread house that they could do for fun. Then Brad slid a box with a bow down the table, Carin in shock, as he walked over to where Carin was sitting and got down on one knee to propose. The whole thing caught so cleverly on video...
