We're getting married!

It all began with a staple in the finger back in 2016. Yes, you read that right—a staple! Carina accidentally stapled her finger while at work, and Juan happened to be walking by and offered to help. That small yet significant interaction sparked a connection neither of us could ignore. We found ourselves looking for excuses to see each other, until one of us finally made the first move. Carina was the brave one who asked for Juan’s number (yes, Carina asked first). From that moment on, we were inseparable, eagerly anticipating every moment spent together. We cherished simple joys like sitting on Carina’s Jeep roof, watching the sunset at Pebble Beach (sneaking past security with a wave) and exploring hidden gems in Juan’s hometown that he had never discovered before. Our mutual love for nature and the outdoors led us on countless adventures together. A few months into our relationship, we moved into an apartment in Pacific Grove, making our first big decision as a couple. We welcomed Nala into our lives, beginning to build our own little family. Juan gave Carina a promise ring, symbolizing our commitment to a shared future. As we grew together, we moved into a cozy home in Monterey, where our love for indoor plants and gardening flourished. Our family expanded with the addition of Zuko, who we happily snuck into our home. We supported each other through career milestones and challenging times, knowing we could survive what life threw at us, together. In August 2022, we took a dream vacation to Hawaii. With our shared love for the outdoors and Carina’s passion for off-roading, we booked an ATV tour at Kualoa Ranch. At the top of the mountains, amidst breathtaking views, Juan proposed! Returning to Monterey, we celebrated this new chapter by purchasing our first home together. Now, we invite you to join us as we embark on the next adventure of our lives—getting married!
