We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Sam and Carina went to middle and high school together. From a small community, they had many friends in common but lost touch during the college years. Flash forward a few years and Sam spotted Carina at a pizza restaurant in Burlington. Sam had a crush on Carina all throughout their school days but she had no idea. He asked her to brunch followed by dinner and their story was well on its way. After a few months of long distance dating Vermont:Maine they merged households in Burlington in the middle of the pandemic. Surviving the pandemic lock-down, Sam, Carina, and Rosie the beagle took a dawn hike up nearby Mount Philo where Sam proposed to Carina, who of course said yes!

With buying a house, working, finishing nursing school, and the safety restrictions due to a worldwide pandemic, we decided to elope to Portland, ME for a very intimate ceremony by the ocean. We weren't able or willing to leave anyone out due to restrictions from Covid-19 so we decided to wait to hold a celebration until everyone could safely get together again.
