Carina and David met in a college course and dated a few months later. A few weeks after that COVID-19 closed down the University and they went virtual keeping in touch through zoom and FaceTime as it was not advised to travel out of state. Carina got a job in Maine and moved to Fryeburg where David grew up and the rest is history.

David proposed April 15, 2023 on top of Sabattus Mountain in Lovell, Maine. David invited all of Carina’s siblings and parents to hike to the top where he surprised her with the proposal.
