Our love story started in an unexpected way. Carina was at UC Berkeley, and he was a friend of her roommate, looking to move out of LA for a fresh start. Little did we know, it would be the beginning of something new for both of us! We like to joke that we “met by moving in together”—because that’s truly how it happened. A chance encounter quietly set the stage for a friendship that would eventually grow into an everlasting love. Since then, our path has been full of laughter, adventures near and far, moves across the state (and the country!), and quiet moments that reminded us what it means to feel at home together—all since 2013. Our journey reached a beautiful milestone on our last day in New York City, just before moving back to Los Angeles, when he unexpectedly proposed at a park bench in McCarren Park. It was a perfect moment, celebrating all we had shared, everything we had built, and all that was still to come. Together, we’ve built a love that feels like home—full of joy, laughter, and the endless little moments that make life sweeter. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you, surrounded by love, laughter, and the people who make our story complete.
