Cara and Melanie met back in 2009 when they both started as "new fish" together at the Catalina Island Marine Institute in California. Melanie is one of the most open-hearted and kindest people Cara has ever met. It's a honor to have Mel come up all the way from California to be a part of our special day!

Dena and Cara went to the same elementary and middle schools but didn't become friends until their freshman year French class. Dena is one of the most intelligent, driven, and caring people that Cara knows and after 20+ years of wild adventures and laughter together, Cara couldn't imagine getting married without her adopted sister there with her!
