Cari has always loved west coast swing dancing. Since starting to dance, she would also substitute teach classes in the local Kansas City area. Our mutual friends, Kyle & Aimy Patel, had their second child and asked Cari to teach Kyle's weekly class for a month. To Cari's surprise, a younger and quite attractive man walked into her class, along with probably 15-20 other students age 50 and over :) After class was over, Cari "requested" everyone write their names down so that she could add them to an email list. In reality, she couldn't remember this young man's name and wanted to be able to look him up later. A few days later, Cari reached out via facebook messenger and asked Jake out for a drink. Not only did they fall in love, but they fell in love on the dance floor :)
