We want our friends and family to have a blast but also stay safe. Since Camp Nelson is a remote mountain location with no cell service and the road up the mountain is steep and very windy, we highly recommend planning to spend at least the night in Camp Nelson.
We’ve reserved some spots at a camp ground, Camp Nelson RV Park, that’s walkable from our reception venue. It’s a safe “stumble to bed” distance after our celebration!
Alternatively, there are plenty of rental options available on Airbnb and VRBO, but they book up months out for the summer. If you are planning to rent a cabin, please book ASAP to ensure you get a place!
The cabins tend to be quite large, so if you are a smaller party and know friends or family also attending the wedding, we'd recommend sharing a house with them!
There are beautiful hikes, ancient Sequoia trees, scenic drives, and secret swimming holes to enjoy for those who choose to spend the whole weekend (or longer!) with us.
