Shortly after Lizzy moved to Hilton Head Island, she met Andrew on a popular dating website. The two messaged back and forth for a couple of weeks until they finally decided to meet in person! On April 11th, 2015, Andrew took Lizzy to Mellow Mushroom where they shared a "Kosmic Karma" Pizza, followed by a round of Legendary mini golf! Lizzy won that game and almost every game since.

Andrew & Lizzy visited one of their favorite spots, Pinckney Island. They hiked a couple of miles, saved a baby turtle, and then exchanged their first "I love you!" They were smitten.

On December 30, Lizzy & Andrew kicked off their weekend with brunch at Little Duck Diner. It's a cute spot in Savannah. Afterwards, Andrew suggest that they walk around downtown and look at the shops. Lizzy was a little suspicious because Andrew kept checking the time. He finally told her that they were going on a horse carriage ride. This was a happy surprise because carriage rides are one of Lizzy's favorite things to do! Lizzy KNEW this was the moment he would propose... but he didn't! In fact, Lizzy was pretty miserable that Andrew booked them ANOTHER history tour. I mean... where's the romance in that? About half way through the ride, the guide told them a story they'd never heard before. It was about Juliette Gordon Lowe's parents, and the way they celebrated anniversaries. She said that every year they would go to Columbia Square and throw three pennies in the fountain. One for health, wealth, & happiness. The guide later suggested that Andrew & Lizzy participate in this loving tradition! They did and then Andrew got down on one knee, and popped the question. Of course Lizzy said yes!

We cannot wait to celebrate with all of our friends and family!
