It all started in early 2023 with a little matchmaking magic from mutual friend Jennifer Yeakel. Jen worked with Sam and was a longtime friend of Nick’s. After hearing Sam vent about modern dating and knowing Nick was ready to settle down, Jen knew she had to make the connection.

She described Sam as a “petite brunette who wants kids, has a dog, and likes Philly sports.” Nick was hooked. He messaged Sam on Instagram, asking about her dog, Ellie — and the rest is history.

Today, Sam and Nick love trying new restaurants and cocktail bars, playing (mediocre) tennis and pickleball, traveling, live music, and spending time with friends and family. They especially love spoiling Ellie, catching the latest Marvel movie, and catching Phillies games at the Bank.
