Our story began in the most unexpected of places—the office! Despite the daily grind, something special sparked between us. Captivated by his charm and wit, I started doing silly things like asking him questions pretending I didn't already know the answers. However, that backfired when Shane's slick response was simply, "Google it." Clearly, a different approach was needed. After my first company kickoff meeting, a few coworkers and I planned to grab a drink, and I mustered the courage to invite Shane—he responded with a "maybe next time." At that point, I thought: challenge accepted! My girlfriend was playing in a lingerie football league game soon, and I invited a few people from work to join my friends and me. This time, Shane agreed. LOL! Persistence pays off, ladies! Since then, our life together has been an exciting adventure. He took me on our first real date shortly thereafter, and pleasantly, he wanted Maddy to join us. We both fell for him instantly. It's been a whirlwind six years filled with everything from spontaneous weekend getaways to quiet nights in. We've had our shares of ups and downs, but learning and growing together is my favorite adventure of all. Shane is sweet, thoughtful, and knows just how to handle us sassy girls. We can't wait to start the next chapter of our journey. Forever will never be long enough to spend together.
