10 years ago, I met Carey on a drunken Sunday night at Cascade. She was radiant, congenial, & a natural performer. I remember her running to and from the skate floor depending on the song to either twerk or skate while smiling the entire night. I liked her vibe as we would call it now. I wanted to support her accomplishments so i sat in her chair & trusted her. I mean ya girl did not disappoint. From that moment a new woman & friendship was born. As the time passed by, we became closer & for a short moment we were cousins. We found that out through casual girl talk. But it never changed the dynamics of our friendship. Through the good, bad, or indifferent, I’ve always valued & admired Carey for her openness, perseverance, big heart, support, & love for the west side. She knows my motto, “F it. We ball.”

I’ve known DJ for 10 plus years. We met through the best man, Kay. I was just getting back home from finishing up my College career at East Carolina University and before I went to play ball overseas, I was introduced to Kay through my dog Zach that I’ve known since I was 18. After meeting Kay, we all stepped out in the city one night and I was introduced to DJ in the line of Velvet room nightclub, I believe. That’s basically how I met most of the guys involved in the wedding right now. In the line of a nightclub lol. We’ve all been a close crew, ever since.

I met Dj while working at a warehouse in the Summer of 2016 . Towards the end of that Summer we were informed Saturdays were mandatory for work. One Saturday we were sent home early due to them wasting our time, and Dj needed a ride home. He asked me if I wouldn’t mind dropping him off and he would cover gas. I had no other plans so i didn’t mind. During the ride we talked about sports, family, music, and he introduced me to a few podcasts. When we arrived at his home he asked if I played 2k and proceeded to hand him his well asked for loss. And we been boys since.
