We met in college in a public speaking class in 2010. After many failed attempts to spell his last name in the search bar on Facebook, Carey finally found Aaron and reached out. Our first date was at Owen's Apple Orchard to go apple picking and I guess you could say we each picked a good one!

After finishing school and starting our careers, we closed on our first home in 2018 and started living together for the first time. We have found so much joy in making our house a home over these past few years and have done quite a few DIY projects and home renovations along the way!

In 2019 we brought home Murphy and Finn, our two German Shorthaired Pointers, aka our whole hearts. As you may know, they are some of the most energetic beings on the planet, but also the most loving and affectionate. It's been a crazy 3 years with them filled with training, doggie daycare, endless trips to the park, walks, camp and beach trips, hiking, and of course the nonstop filling in the holes and planting grass seed in the backyard. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Ten years later, we got engaged! We had so much fun picking out a diamond together that had a special meaning to both of us. The day the ring came in, with a little help from our friend Katie, Aaron and she went to pick up the ring. If you know Aaron, you know he can't hold on to surprises for very long and in less than 20 hours he proposed in the living room of our home, just the two of us. He even recorded the whole thing by hiding his phone in the Christmas tree! We will never forget sharing our engagement with our family and friends, and all of the love that we felt. We can't wait to celebrate with you in August!
