Downtown Boulder & Boulder Creek Festival
Downtown Boulder (Pearl Street) is a great place to stay, eat, drink, and shop! The Boulder Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 8am - 2pm. Boulder Creek Festival will also be taking place over Memorial Day Weekend, with three days of music, maker’s markets, food trucks and entertainment.
Chautauqua Park
Great hiking and climbing right in Boulder.
BOLDERBoulder
If you love to walk or run, BOLDERBoulder is a fun and festive 10K where ~40,000 locals run and walk through the city of Boulder on Memorial Day.
Rocky Mountain National Park & Estes Park
Rocky Mountain National Park is less than 1 hour away from Boulder. You'll need to reserve an entry permit on May 1st or the night before the desired entry date to get into the main part of the park. However, there are other great hiking options outside of the main entry areas and Estes Park is an adorable mountain town with lots of shops and restaurants.
Golden & Coors Factory
Golden is an adorable old mining town less than 1 hour from Boulder. Hike, shop, or even visit the Coors Factory (reservations required).
