Where should I stay?

Lodging is available AmeriVu Inn and Suites- Chisago City Address: 29579 Sportsman Drive Chisago City, MN 55013 Phone: (651) 213-3400 There is a block of rooms under Yurek-Remus Wedding. They said if the block fills and they still have rooms they will continue to give the block discount. The Super 8 in Chisago City has rooms at a much better rate than AmeriVu Inn. We will be providing rides to and from this lodging the day of as well. (see transportation question) Since the ceremony and reception are at a campground there are also RUSTIC cabins available on site! If you are interested please reserve by contacting the City at this email: abodell@ci.chisago.mn.us Let them know you are with the Yurek-Remus Wedding Group.

What should I wear?

Answer

Anything... but DEFINITELY SOMETHING. The Wedding Party will be dressed to impress, but we want all of our guests to be comfortable! Feel free to be fancy or relaxed! The ceremony and reception are at a campground so be mindful of footwear! (Ceremony and reception are INDOORS for those of you who love to wear them heels!)

Will there be alcohol served?

Answer

Yes. The bride and groom's family will be supplying beer and mixers (BYOB). Drinking will be from Social Hour through the Dance. If you choose to drink please either stay at a cabin on site or use the transportation we have to the lodging with the Yurek-Remus Wedding block.

Will there be non-alcoholic drinks served?

Answer

Yes. We are aware that those who choose to be sober and those who are in Recovery still love to party! In fact, we would be so bold as to say those sober folks love to PARTY HARDY! We will have energy drinks, water, lemonade, and some limited soda available. Again, always feel free to BYOB.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would love an RSVP by August 15th, but definitely no later than September 10th so we can let our caterer know the number of guests joining us.

Are you registered?

Answer

No. The bride and groom already combined two households so there is no need for household items. If you wish to give the bride and groom a personalized gift, please feel free to do so; and of course, Love is always accepted :)

Question

Will there be transportation to the Wedding Venue?

Answer

Short answer: Yes. Long Answer: Transportation will be provided from the AmeriVu Hotel in Chisago City to the venue and then back to the hotel. Transportation will begin at 3 pm and run continually (about 10 minutes round trip) until 3:45 pm. We will have 2 Vans providing transportation. You may get a ride back at any time after the dance begins up until the end of the night. Transportation will also be provided from Super 8 Hotel beginning at 3:15 pm and you may get a ride back at any time after the dance begins up until the end of the night.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes. Once you come to Ojiketa Campground follow the signs for parking. The ceremony will be held in the Chapel and the reception in the Zonta Lodge.
