Things To Do

Welcome to the City That Never Sleeps! Here you'll find recommendations for things to do, restaurants and nightlife while you're in town. Some are favorites of ours, some local haunts and off-the-beaten path activities, and of course some must-see attractions! If you have ideas or want further suggestions, reach out and we're happy to guide you! (This list is only a small fraction of what the city has to offer!)

Winter Village at Bryant Park

Bryant Park, New York, NY 10018
, (917) 438-5166

Right in the center of the wedding weekend action! A winter wonderland in Midtown Manhattan, the Bryant Park Winter Village is the largest holiday market in the city, including an ice skating rink, various shops and vendors, and great dining.

The Standard Biergarten

848 Washington Street, New York, NY 10014
, (212) 645-4100

The laid-back hangout of the Standard Hotel, this biergarten has foosball and ping pong tables in the heart of the Meatpacking District. You can also make your way to the Top of the Standard, a renowned NYC lounge with incredible views that's great for people-watching.

Grand Central Terminal & Holiday Markets

89 East 42nd Street, New York, NY 10017
, (212) 340-2583

Rudy's

627 9th Avenue, New York, NY 10036
, (646) 707-0890

A classic NYC dive bar (rumored speakeasy in 1919) that Stéphane introduced to Caroline! Attached to a brewery, Rudy's has great beer - also might be the cheapest in town! If that's not enough, stay for the free hot dogs with your pitcher!

Top of The Rock

30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, NY 10020
, (212) 698-2000

Lavo

39 East 58th Street, New York, NY 10022
, (212) 750-5588

For those of you looking to dance, this is one of our favorite clubs in the city!

The High Line

The High Line

New York, NY 10011
, (212) 500-6035

A 1.5 mile long elevated park, this unique New York City oasis is worth a visit even in cooler temperatures! With beautiful Fall foliage and smaller crowds, it's the perfect time to go for a stroll among public art installations, winter gardens, and city views. It runs from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District (where Caroline had her first-ever internship, and still one of her favorite neighborhoods!) to West 34th St. between 10th and 11th avenues.

Momofuku Noodle Bar

171 1st Ave, New York, NY 10003
, (212) 777-7773

On most recommendation lists for good reason - amazing ramen and other Asian dishes!

, (212) 247-1100

Central Park & Central Park Zoo

Like every New Yorker, Caroline will tell you not to go here, but she also can't stop you!
