It's crazy to think you could meet your soulmate during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown but Zack and Jane found a way! It was strange to begin a relationship when you have so many restrictions on what you can do.. but that only brought them closer together faster. Zack and Jane started hiking the local reservation, finding a passion for cooking and really enjoying each other's company without all the other noise that usually comes with dating. It only took a couple of weeks before the couple was officially dating and shortly after that the "I love you's" were pouring out of them. When the social restrictions started lifting, they found themselves feeling like they had just started dating all over again- exploring so many things together for the first time! Trying new restaurants, meeting each others extended families & planning their future together. In September 2023, Zack's family took Jane along for a once in a lifetime trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy. It's here where Zack proposed to Jane. The funny thing is.. the first day the group arrived and explored the city Jane pointed out the restaurant Zack had already set up for the proposal dinner and asked to go there. Zacks mom was quick to state she had already tried getting reservations but it was fully booked (which Jane bought because it was clearly the nicest restaurant in town!!) When Zack woke her up the next morning saying he caught a worker outside the restaurant and they agreed to take just the 2 of them she couldn't believe it. After some wine, apps and dinner Zack waited for his parents to arrive and hide behind the host stand and then asked Jane to spend forever with him. Since Italy, the couple has purchased a new home together and welcomed a puppy into the family! They look forward to planning their return trip to Italy in 2026!
