I had just begun my first year at UTSA while Jason was already in his third year. It was the Tuesday after Labor Day weekend, I was making my way to the bus stop when I saw a familiar face. Backstory: Jason and I are from the same small-town, Del Rio, Texas. Although we lived in the same city, our paths rarely crossed. Of course, the only open seat happened to be next to Jason. I sat down not expecting him to even recognize me, after all, the last time he had maybe even seen me was my sophomore year of high school. To my surprise, he sparked up a conversation and said hello and asked how my day was going. I replied with "I'm doing good, just tired and hungry." He then told me all about the Wingstop deals they offer on Tuesdays and how I can find the AD in my mailbox (Oh, did I forget to mention we happened to live in the same apartment complex?!). Before we knew it, the bus arrived. We made our way onto the bus. I found my roommate and decided I'd sit next to her, before Jason made his way to an open seat he said "Well, let me know." To this day, Jason argues he invited me out to go grab Wingstop and I turned him down. Either way, we ended up here.
