We met at a mutual friend's party, but we didn't become close friends until we shared a photography class together. At the time, I didn't have a Facebook account, so during an assignment one day, Carl slid a piece of paper over to me that said "Friend Request: Yes or No?" It was funny, and I obviously checked "yes". After we both graduated, we were the best of friends. We realized that our feelings for each other went beyond that and the rest is history. On our 7th dating anniversary, we will be saying "I do".
We were at a Panic! at the Disco concert. When the song "Death of a Bachelor" came on, Carl got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said yes and I couldn't believe it as Brendon Urie serenaded us in the background: "The death of a bachelor seems so fitting for happily ever after. How could I ask for more? A lifetime of laughter at the expense of the death of a bachelor". If you haven't heard the song, here is a link to the music video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R03cqGg40GU
