We're getting married

The story of how Larry met Caroline is short and sweet, and kind of anticlimactic. For those that don't know, Larry began a job as a recruiter at a company in Indianapolis called NCW back in 2015. This was his third job after graduating from Butler in 2012. In 2016, Caroline was a Senior at Butler University and desperately searching for an internship that would fulfill her business degree requirements. She happened to take an interview at a company called National Construction Workforce (NCW), since she was running out of options already into the semester. She surprisingly enjoyed her interview and the people she met and accepted the offer when given to her later that week. Caroline met Larry later that month when touring the building and meeting all the employees. She distinctly remembers a huge print on Larry's wall of himself as a child (that his Mom had brought and put up for his birthday earlier that year). She thought he was kidding when he said it was him as a child.

Caroline and Larry had very little interaction throughout Caroline's internship that ended in May of 2016 when she graduated from Butler. After another Summer internship and full-time job that bored her to death she was thrilled to get a call from NCW. They were looking for someone to come in and do Marketing full-time for the company (a new role). She accepted quickly & started in summer of 2017. Caroline and Larry had more necessary interactions once she started to collaborate with recruiters on projects and they became friends quickly. Larry was easy to talk to, made her laugh a lot, and they shared a love of music (a lot of the same artists/genres). They quickly became very good friends and spent many weeknights and weekends doing fun activities around the city, going out to eat, or having movie nights. It sounds like a smooth trajectory, but it wasn't. There were years of friendship and years where they didn't talk as much due to relationships, but finally in 2020, right when COVID-19 came along, Larry & Caroline started to explore a relationship beyond friendship & didn't look back.
