Nick and Caraline were set up by close friend, Jackie. They met each other on a Wednesday night in mid February at Zulu in downtown Cincinnati. Zulu quickly became a regular spot for the two of them. It is no surprise after their first date they ended up back out to dinner again that Friday, and from there their relationship blossomed.

Nick proposed to Caraline in front of the Rose Garden at one of their favorite parks in Cincinnati, Ault Park, on a Friday late afternoon. Ault Park is significant to both as this is where they would go for walks and picnics with their dog Chance during the pandemic. They spent many afternoons here with very fond memories. The proposal could not have been complete without their little man, Chance by their side.
